Oya doesn't collect, store or share any personal data.
The events, tasks, notes and links you add are saved in a file on your device, inside the app's own storage. The app's widgets read the same file. It's included in your device's normal backups, such as iCloud Backup, if you have those turned on.
If you turn on Show Apple Calendar, the app reads events from your device's Calendar app so it can show them. They're read on the device, never copied anywhere else, and never changed. You can turn this off at any time in the app, or in your device's Settings.
If you follow a holiday calendar or a calendar link, the app downloads that public calendar file directly from where it's published (for holidays, Google's public holiday calendars) about once a day. It's an ordinary download of a public file: no information about you or your calendar is sent with it. The publisher can see that the file was downloaded, as with any website.
Oya Pro is a subscription sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and your Apple Account. The app only asks the App Store whether Pro is active on your device, and never sees your payment details or who you are. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings.
Nothing about you. Oya has no account, no servers of its own, no analytics and no advertising. The only network requests are the calendar downloads above and the App Store's own checks for Pro. Links you add open in your browser only when you tap them.
Open Settings in the app and choose Delete all events and tasks, or delete the app.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date. Questions about it: hello@veghalapps.com.
